We began with a question: Why do we know so little about the food we eat every day?
We ask where our coffee came from.
We discuss the terroir of wine.
We care about the provenance of olive oil.
Yet the flour, dal and grains we eat every day are often reduced to little more than a grade, a certificate and a packet.
Earthenic was created to look closer.
Why don’t we have access to the very best in India?
Earthenic began with a simple question: Why don’t we have access to the very best in India?
During my travels, particularly across Europe, I noticed something that stayed with me. Everyday food and home essentials were way better in quality. What struck me even more was discovering products made in India yet seemingly created to standards that were difficult to find back home.
It made me wonder: Why cannot we have the best products at home? Could we create that same experience here in India?
That became the founding question of Earthenic.
We started with a belief that quality should go beyond a label or a certification. The best food begins much earlier—with where it is grown. We look at the soil, climate, agricultural practices and regional expertise to identify where each crop can naturally thrive. That is why our sourcing is deliberately specific, from wheat in Sehore to toor dal from Sultanpur and millets from Karnataka.
Exceptional sourcing is only the beginning. We scrutinise what comes after the harvest—how food is processed, stored and packed, and we test our products against the most stringent standards at some of the world’s most reputed laboratories.
Even our packaging reflects the same philosophy. Instead of choosing conventional plastics for convenience, we are using natural and plant-based alternatives, wherever practical and possible. For our flours, we take it one step further. Rather than milling and storing them long in advance, we mill them on order—bringing the grain closer to your kitchen at its freshest.
Earthenic is our attempt to bring greater thoughtfulness to the things we bring into our everyday lives—food and eventually, much more.
We do the work of searching, questioning, testing and selecting, so that you can simply choose with confidence.
Because we believe we all should have the best and never compromise on what matters the most.
